GIVdriver,
I'm in man.......please sign me up..! I love the Corsair and I love these brotherhood forums......#51, I think on the P-47 Brotherhood. I'm one of the crazy fools that completely reengineered the ESM 86" Corsair and she's a great flyer. Getting ready to pull the trigger on the new Hanger 9 60 CC Corsair. The 4.2 Brison carries her along nicely...........FAST AND LOUD.

hi all, finially did the test flight on mine today, ESM 74". DLE 35RA, ESM air retracts. CofG about 105mm. the take off was nice, didnt behave like a ***** as I thought it might, very nice to fly, very happy with it, flew it around for a while, no problems, big loops, rolls, lowish passes, nice to fly, quite solid in the air, 19lb it should be, took it up high and slowed it down, full flaps, no sign of any bad habbits, a few more passes then time to land, no wheels, must have an air leak, (bl##dy retracts) have heard a saying, if it has retracts or ****, you got problems, well this has retracts, so I flew a circuit and brought it in, half flap, put the flaps up just before I touched down, but didnt manage to kill the engine in time, broken prop, but the approach was no problems, it behaved nicely, even with the wheels up, found an air leak, fixed, ready for its next flight.
like it. I have a few ESM Models, P-47, P-51B, Typhoon, had a Spitfire. I think they look nice, fly well, but not really ARF.

Here you go guys. Hope you enjoy. CARF 110" F4U-1A. Moki 215, JR 12X, electric canopy, Sierra Gear converted to electric by Down and Locked, complete light system, gun system, operational cowl flaps, Klass Cote epoxy paint. The only air is on the main gear doors. The owner is going to finish her exterior detail with nomenclature and weathering.

Here we are building a new wing after strike damage. Ziroili with
Zenoah GT-80. The plane flew for 13 yr. I have a flight log over 2 inches thick. I gave it to my son who banged it up.

G´day all,
my latest model, had a few flutter problems with the 74in version, so I now have the 85 inch version, ESM 85in Corsair. 70cc EME twin for horsepower, ESM air Retracts, I didnt do it exactly as per the book, 2 elevator servos, under the tailplane, 4 flap servos, hooked into a JR Matchbox, I didnt use the kit engine mount system, made a solid 12mm ply firewall, bolted in place. the Corsair came in at just over 15kg, but you wouldnt know by the way it flys, very happy with it, good horsepower, very nice to fly. sounds great.

G´day,
the EME 70 fits with clearance, sounds great, quite smooth, heaps of power, I am using a similar prop to the Xoar, 24x8, hauls the model around without any problems. they sell a version with an on board starter, I didnt go that way, wish I had.

Just started my TF Giant Corsair kit (not ARF) It's been sitting in my shop for several years waiting to be built. The time has come.
Will use my trusty JR 10X for control with a new Spektrum 2.4ghz module.
Leaning toward a Zenoah G62 for power.
Right now I'm spending hours searching all the great Corsair threads for tips and tricks. There are some very talented builders, craftsman and artists sharing a wealth of information. Much appreciated.

All corsairs welcome! Share building techniques, ask questions, post pictures. Pictured here is a Giant Royal Corsair. I used a Byron Three Blade system, on a 4.2 Sachs. Picture is from 1988. This bird is still flying, under new ownership and power, DLE 85. I will do my best to keep the roster up to date. PM me with request to help keep everyone in order. Thanks! Corsairs can be a difficult build. Let's get some posts going.

Please sign me up as well.
I'm currently working on a TF Giant Corsair. Mostly built but I'm adding a lot of scaled details that's really taking time...Like my canopy frame I just popped of the canopy. I'm using a Ziroli canopy on my TF. It's a little bigger and I think it looks better..
