RE: HOW DURABLE IS THE SAVAGE...REALLY
While bashing Saturday, at my back lot track, came off the WOT jump sideways, and hit a piece of half-inch treated plywood at tremedous force...it's there to guard a stout 4 X 4 that holds up a shed roof.
Bear with me while I list the damage....
One 4 X 8 piece of treated plywood, split a good 12 inches down from the top...where it rested on the corner of the post.
Also...uh...well...that's it! Landed wheels down & made the pass on the back-stretch...

yea they should but it goes to show that Hpi makes some mean bashing machines. I think a prime example of that comparing it to my E-maxx is just look how the bumpers are set up. Savages bumpers adsorb impact while my E-maxx bumpers just snap like twigs.

It's been great for a guy tryin' to learn how to drive...for sure. And, like most newbies, I end up crashing for the highlight reel instead of tryin to learn how to control the truck...but I'm gettin' better.

Just dont nosedive your Savage off the roof of our house onto your concrete driveway below. Savages are tough, but a nosedive like that will total one.
