Problems with mamba monster and dx3s.. help..
I just did a E conversion on my lst xxl. When I turn off the transmitter first the car just takes off. I turned off the tx just to see what would happen if i lose reception. I don't want that to happen. What can I do to on to the tx so that wouldn't happen? Another thing is, Do I have to calibrate every time I turn on the receiver? It never seems to link unless i calibrate it. Thanx in advance..

mamba monsters shouldn't have to recalibrate every time you turn on the radio. Is it possible that your radio trim is set to far forward so it thinks your trying to reset every time? I own a 4pk futaba which is similar to your radio and if you just let it sit for a second after the initial beeps it will give you one final tone saying its linked to your radio.</p>

Can it be that the failsafe is still set to my nitro.

DING DING DING DING ! We have a winna ! When you set the failsafe for nitro you set it too full brake , so when the RX goes into failsafe mode thats what gets sent too the ESC which = a full throttle take off if you lose signal or turn off the TX .
Re bind the transmitter and receiver but this time leave the throttle at neutral while you bind them .
