I need help sealing a diff...
I converted my rustler to a slash for the racing season. While converting/cleaning, I wanted to put50k oilin the diff instead of grease.I've read a couple threads on how to do this, but none of them list the parts they used. I've also read somewhere that you could use 50k+ and get away without sealing it.
If anyone coulld help me find the parts or have any insight that would be great!
Thanks

RE: I need help sealing a diff...
I don't think that diff is designed to be sealed
trying to seal it is likely going to be a loosing battle, with all the fluid leaking out eventually even if you attempt to seal it

RE: I need help sealing a diff...
This is the thread I found, the first post
http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150742
When I ran it, it would diff out all the time. I'm looking to slow the diff down. I don't want to lock it, but if I can't do anthing else, I might have to.
Thanks for the reply
