A Zenoah G-23 is the perfect combination as you will need the nose weight of the G-23 mag, no ignition battery to be messing with, the reliability of Zeanoah engines, and more than enough power to tow banners and drop RC parachuters or candy etc. etc.

I have a DLE20 up front with rudder/elevator servos mounted in tail. Beefed up firewall and tail and no extra weight needed to balance. Tank mounted on COG, hope to maiden this weeked

Sandwiched in 1/4 inch ply against existing forwall from inside and pinned/glued sides to it using small dowel and epoxy. Glued in stock triangle balsa inside around joints. Beefed up tail end of fuselage with thin ply as the balsa is quite soft and I was worried that the vibration from gas motor would shake it to pieces. Other last minute mods have been to add a separate servo in rear for tail wheel control and remove two elevators halfs and join using a steel rod to eliminate the spit elevator push rod setup. Will update once maiden complete.

RE: Sr Telemaster-Gas?
Well after a long wait due to crap weather, finally completed a maiden. Definitely overpowered as anymore than 1/2 throttle and it just about rips the main wing off due to the diehedral. Takes off within 12 foot on less than 1/4 throttle and flys around real nice like your typical trainer, does basic loops with no problem at all but does not like flying inverted and real slow on the rolls. Biggest problem (as others how found with the telemaster) is that it does did not want to come down, keeps gliding forever. Unless you have a lot of space you are gonna have to force it down using the elevator. Am going to set it up with flaps and see how it goes, will leave the DL20 in as it is so reliable and cheap to run
