I love the car. I have two of them.... I have the Rossi NS12T5S2, which is just about the fastest engine around IMO other then the jp modified motors.
The car is amazing. it has such a low CG. You can pretty much put any shore rating tires you want and you won't get any traction roll. And it handles like a proceed. It is built very solid and easy to maintain. It is belt drive which allows you to throw pretty much any engine you want unlike the TC3 and the RS4ss.

thank you nitrofreak...i have one more question....it looks really low....can you run this car in a parking if its pretty clean and smooth...without bottoming out and losing traction...cause this thing looks like its slammed to the ground....or is it strictly for tracks....thanks

NS12T5S2 ??
what engine is that? do u mean the rs12 t5 or the ns12 5port?
i have a r40 with a novarossi ns12 3 and it handles really great. i sometimes use my r40 on the street and it doesn't bottom out. mine is about .8 cm in height. u just have to take the foams out and put rubbers in it.

the ns12 5 port has 1.6hp, but its turbo and the 3 port has 1.5. the fastest is the 5 port, i think it goes up to 42,000 rpm. i got my ns3 for 250 at my lhs and the 5 port was the same price.

Yep.. It is the turbo (not roar legal).. But it is a real pain in the ass. I had a bad breakin(air leak) and ever since is has been a real pain. But man does it fly!!!
I just ran my r40 today. It is usually very durable , but not today
the HPI CVDs are very cheap cast metal of some sort. I broke two of the one a very light hit. I also striped to rear camber links. It was not a good day.
As for pavment I agree with mig. take off the foams and you should be ok.. You will scratch up the chassis, but that's about it.
