Fantom in TC3
Does anyone have a Fantom 15 in there TC3. I just threw one in my car and My throttle linkage will not work right. If anyone has one can you post a close up pic. Thanks...

Easy buddy!
I think what you mean is that the throttle is the other way around right?
Open up the carb set screw (NOT the idle set screw). Take out the carb, turn it around, and reseat it in there!
DO NOT twist the carb in place. You might shave something off and it might drop into the crankcase without you knowing it!
Take your time, and make sure you have a good seal. And hey.. maybe this is a good time to add in some silicone sealent!

I was able to get it in,but the linkage is causing the carb to bind. It is not pulling straight. Also the idle screw is hitting the flywheel.

nitrofreak - i had this exact same problem when i installed my CV-R with a slide carb in my NTC3. loosen that screw again to move the carb - angle the carb, so that it almost hits the cooling fins. This will allow for a more straight on approach of the throttle linkage.

I got it turn as far as it will go. ,but the idle screw is hitting my fly wheel. I think that I am just going to put my SS back in.[sm=crying.gif]
