Wren 44 Gold hot start
Hi guys,
My Wren 44 Gold has about five hours on it now and so far has worked faultlessly.
Recently however I noticed that each time I went out with the model, it was necessary to increase the power to the glow plug in order to start the motor. I therefore replaced the plug with the recommended Model Technics FirePower F7 (hot plug).
Since replacing the plug, starting the motor has been considerably hotter, to the point that on Friday the back of my Boomerang was singed slightly and some film melted!
What am i doing wrong? I have dialed the power to the glow plug back to the normal amount - 38. Is the motor getting to much gas on start up? I am currently using a butane/propane mixture.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Stephen
