Initializing EZRun 150a ESC using Arduino
Hey guys,
I am new to the RC world and was working on my first ever RC car as a project. I got the Rampage XB-E from the redcat racing.
The car runs with a TP Power brushless motor using the EZRun 150a from hobbywing. I disconnected the Remote receiver and connected the wires to an Arduino DUE board.
I want to send a PWM signal using the Arduino, but I am having problem initializing the ESC. After a lot of searching on the internet, I figured that ESC have a safety feature for which they have to have a sequence before starting.
Minimum--> Delay --> Maximum --> Delay --> Minimum --> delay and then ready to go. Or something similar to this.
I tried a lot of these sequence but the ESC doesn't seem to initialize. Can anyone help me with how to initialize this specific ESC??
Thanks!
