Can someone help me identify a plane ?
I have a picture of the plane in question in the gallery. I have been told that it could be a Stinson that was built around 1960's. I was told it was probably done from plans and not a kit. If that is true what would something like this be worth.
Thanks

A pic would help a whole lot. Also, dimensions.

It has a 84" wing span.It appears to have a chainsaw engine, but I am not sure the size. The builder poured a couple of lead wieghts and attached them in the fuselage behind the engine(I am guessing for CG?).

My Feedback: (1)
That is absolutely not any model Stinson what it is actually is a scale model of a Wittman Tailwind Homebuilt also see Wittman Buttercup. I have no clue as to whether or not it was ever a kit.
Yes the lead is for CG purposes Judging from the presense of the lead and the relative size of the prop its very likely the engine is a Zenoah G-23, Perhaps a bit weak for the airplane.
Value could be from not much at all to maybe a hundred bucks or so.
