Midwest Jetster 20 Build
Hey jents!
Time for another build! Got a couple Jetster kits and it's build time!
Finally got my garage turned into a decent workshop. Beats the enterance room I was using before.
Started by making tracings of all the die cut parts that aren't laid out on the plan. I'll send to outerzone once I get them scanned.
Parts all punched out and ready for assembly. Always exciting to turn a box of wood into something that flies.
Let's start on the wing!
Kidding, have to do rib doublers first. Excuse the rather flakey system for holding the edges down.
And while the ribs are drying it's time for the fuse doublers. Even followed the plans and made one left and one right side! Patted myself on the back for that. Some of those pins are at least 25 years old, stole them fair and square from my mothers sewing kit.
In fact, some of those very pins are in this picture from the late 90s.
And now I am out of building surface for the night so glue must dry!
