Default Is fuel consumption linear on detuned turbines?

I have a spare p180rx and curious if I turn it down to a 120, is it going to have the fuel consumption of a 120, or will it be higher? I.e., is there internal components that are larger on the 180 for fuel flow that would prevent fuel savings? I might be putting it into a plane with limited fuel capacity and want to make sure I get decent flight times.

Hi Mike

you have to rember the residual trust also for the application you are thinking. For slippery planes it would make a big difference during landing.
