Woodland Davis jet meet April 26, 27, 28th
The Woodlan/Davis club annual jet meet is less than two weeks away, this is a low-key gathering of our local and some friends from far away.
If you are in the area and would like to burn some Kero with us on that weekend then, swing by and let's have fun.
The weather forecast is looking good for that weekend.

Nor cal afterburner.
Carlos thanks for starting the thread!!!
Jack cant wait to see the f100 some more. Beast!
looking forward to seeing everyone again in a few weeks. The field will he open for early arrivals on Thursday April 4, and flying thru Sunday. Some Awards will be handled Saturday afternoon. Food will be available on site on Friday and Saturday.
If if you have any questions please contact me at [email protected] and I will be happy to assist. We are going to have a great time and burn lots of fuel and electrons. We have a mat runway which is 600 feet long and 55 feet wide with long over runs. Since we have a mat runway, we do ask that bobcat type models with engine exhaust down thrust be very careful to avoid burns.
The field is best situated for morning flying with the sun at your back. We fly all day but the sun will be more in your face by the end of the day.
Let us us know what you are bringing! I will have my skymaster blue angel cougar and probably my jmp t33.
Thanks to BVM for their generous support and more is coming daily!!!
See you at the field!!!
Jeff

Postponement due to weather
Weather is not looking good for this weekend. I’ve been watching the forecast for the last week hoping things would improve but they have not. Showers Thursday and Saturday, and rain on Friday. Sunday looks dry but will still be windy.
I’m making the decision to postpone and will announce a new date as soon as I can coordinate with the club.
We we will have the event soon and I want to acknowledge the support of aeropanda, BVM, and horizon hobby. Their support ensures they every pilot will go home with something and we will have a good time.
Standby for a new event date.
Thanks!
Jeff Lovitt.

Jeff:
Sorry to hear that weather forced a reschedule. The good news is that we will get some ZAP products to you for the new date. Sorry we did not get anything there for this weekend but I have been very busy getting everything completed for the next two weeks ahead of my knee replacement surgery.
Talk to you soon.

Postponement.
Well, as Carlos photos show the weather turned out not to be terrible and some flying has been happening. I guess that’s the curse of being a cd and having to read the weather. Nevertheless the field will be in better shape and there will be even better weather when we host the event at the end of April. I’m setting April 26,27,28 as the new dates.
Paul thank you so much for the support from zap and house of balsa. Let me know if you need anything g else from me.
Thanks!

Thanks very interesting read. When I was in advanced pilot training USAF I had choice of F-89 or F-94C, chose F-94C. Was never sorry.
