Be specific.
The Tam Jet FA-18 can use two different tailpipes, depending on the brand of bypass tube....one for the BVM bypass tube, and the other is for the Tam Jets bypass. They have different inlet diameters and attachment methods.
BVM and Tam were in a partnership many years ago on this airplane. BVM made several changes (improvements) to the bill of material, including landing gear units, bypass and pipe, better clear canopy and better wheels, tires and brakes. (BVM F-4 Phantom wheels tires and brakes from the original F-4 kit are a logical replacement, and perfect fit as Tam's tires are no longer available). The BVM mod also included KingCat landing gear units and trigger valve actuated landing gear doors..
