PAW .049 / Norvel .074 Powered C/L Model
Based loosely on the Flight Streak,,but the wing is built more like a British combat model with no spars at the high point of the airfoil. I think this technique is both very easy and strong enough
26 inch span
6.5 inch chord
weighs 9 ozs
medium silkspan and dope
35 foot x .012" steel lines [Old AMA 1/2A Combat lines]
The PAW ,049 likes 6x3 and 6x4 props
The Norvel .074 likes 7x3 [and also a 7x3 MAS that was cut down to 6.25"]
The PAW fuel tank is 1/2 oz and the Norvel tank is 3/4 oz set up for muffler pressure.

Today the Norvel .074 had to put on his BIG BOY PANTS and fly this plane on 50 foot lines.
I picked up some 40 pound test Spiderline Supreme and even though it has some stretch, the model performed OK.
It did OK with a APC 7x3....but I think it pulled harder with a APC .6.3 x 4.
The Norvel .074 sure runs steady with muffler pressure.
