Transmitting Problems?
I am new to the world of R/C racing and I am a complete novice! I have just purchased a Ho Bao Pirate 10 Monster Truck on eBay with a Hyper .21 engine, electric motor start. It says it the manual to turn on both the transmitter and receiver first before starting, I have done this and the servos twitch a little bit. But when I try to move the wheels with the transmitter, or operate the throttle, nothing moves! Now, is this because the engine has to be started in order to move the wheels etc.. or is the receiver or transmitter faulty? I have already had to buy a few new glow plugs as the one that came with it was broken.
Any ideas, i would be grateful for any decent replies.
Cheers!

RE: Transmitting Problems?
The engine doesn't have to be running to move the servos, however, the batteries in both the transmitter and receiver should be charged. You should make sure both the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency, that the batteries in both the transmitter and receiver are charged, and then you can always lift the front wheels off the ground and trying turning them with the radio. Either way, the throttle servo should still move so it seems like you may have a "power" problem.
