Solarfilm and clear Butyrate dope.......
Hi All,
I'm going to fuelproof some areas around the engine bay and on the outside of the fuselage with clear Sig butyrate dope before I cover with Solarfilm. The airframe is all balsa construction. Now the big question[:-], will the Solarfilm adhere to the doped surface? Anyone tried this? I read the Solarfilm instruction sheet and they mention 'Clearcoat'[sm=surprised.gif], but I don't really know if this is one of their products or not.
This is my first time using Solarfilm-BTW
Thanks in advance,
Scott

Gord,
Thanks! That's it! I'm going to cheat a little though and replace the tailskid with a steerable tailwheel I've got a brand new Saito FA-.40 to power it.

She's a beauty, Scott. What, rudder,elevator, throttle?
