Default Whip Antennas

I've been trying to find some kind of new antenna mast for my receiver. The original tube is busted up and I need something new...preferably something that's easy to get the antenna into! I'd really like a whip of somekind that's a little more durable than the cheesy plastic tubes they send out stock. Any ideas?

get the antennas that have the little caps on them, they dont not break. plus the cap protects your reciever wire from getting frayed or cut in half.

i have heard of antennas that are made of something other than plastic (not sure what) that, when your car rolls over it springs it back onto its wheels
