How can I teach my Pitts to Smoke
Have a GP Pitts, FA 300 Saito with stock pipes. Not sure about pre-heating the smoke fuel. Can this be done with the stock pipes or what do I need to do it right? Thanks for any help. Not looking to spend a lot of $$$ but think it is cheaper to do it right the first time than do it over and over.

TME smoke system and put a nipple as close as possible to the beginning fo the muffler, close to the engine. Pre-heat should not be required if you use a good smoke oil. Don't over supply the smoke oil to the muffler. Often, less oil is much more smoke.

I have limited experience.Before I crashed my Ultimate and desroyed the smoke system and everything else,I was using a TME smoke pump to my OS 120.4 strokes have a hotter exhaust and may not need preheating( I did not)
Your big Saito might burn hot enough not to preheat.Some people make home brews,but I used a brand called dry smoke ( I believe)
Maybe inject some into your muffler with a bulb pump and see if it works for you,before setting out and spending a pile of money...
