i broke my front bulkheads yesterday when my front right tire cliped a tree.[:@] the little aluminum thing that holds the pin broke and then it snapped. has anyone had a problem with that purple aluminum piece breaking?? i did a temporary fix so the truck will drive and is fine but i probably should replace the bulkhead and purple thing.

oh, i was taking action pics for you all today, here they are. they arent very good because no one would take the pics so i had to take them as i was driving. i am going about 20 to 25 mph in the shots.

That's the bad thing about aluminum. It's gotta give somewhere. That might've been your A arm if you still had the stock arms on. Nice looking truck though. What brand arms are those? I use Hardcore Racing upper & lower arms with Golden Horizons knuckles.

they are golden horizen A-arms. all my aluminum parts are, which are 2 shock towers and those A-arms.

Are your shocks ok??? one of the front shafts looks a little bent.

I can only agree with Savage_Dias, ally arm moved the force to your bulk head. should have done it the other way round, ally bulkheads and plastic arms.

actually the bulkheads only took the pressure cause that purple brace broke. that one was bent before and was cracked and i didnt think i would crash again so i left it as it is. well, i did crash. hit a tree.[:@] if that piece was fine, it would still be truckin.

oh, and that shock you see, its bent. its the only bent shock i have. im fixing it right now though. while i have the time to i am getting it done. ive got a spare shock shaft.

I have a full set Golden Horizon arms in blue but after I got them I decided I wanted the Hardcore Racing arms. HR's looked lighter & I liked the idea of adjustable uppers. I'll try to pay homage to the R/C gods in hope that you can get your parts so you can give the maxxes a proper smackdown this weekend. lol

lol. 2 weeks ago i gave them a sneak peek of the truck. this week i race them for real. last time i did small race but no big race on the track. and they saw me just mess around with wheelies. yesterday, i drove on a wheelie for the entire yard. i was riding on the rear bumper.

Ahh Think i'm going to stick with Plastic Arms, I'd rather break them then put strain on the rest of the chassis when I hit unmovable objects..
