I was wondering if there is a cheaper way than cutting to comm to get the same effect. I don't really want to buy a lathe.

Other than a good cleaning, the only thing you can do is cut the comm. I would suggest you and several other people you know the pool your money and buy a lathe to share.

There are a lot of people around who have lathes. But they can't help you if they don't know what city you are from. Are you ashamed of it.

other then cleaning it (i think the best way is to use an eraser) just get u and your friends to put money in to buy one, or ask a guy at your track to use his, or u could see if your local hobby shop has one i would suggest just buying one try ebay!
