Rudder pull-pull geometry question
is there a geometry problem with an offset (from center-line) servo for a pull-pull rudder setup?
(the centrer-line is "busy" dealing with (2) split elevator pushrods)[]
thanks for helping,
Vasek

RE: Rudder pull-pull geometry question
as long as its not offset too far as to have any interference. otherwise, the wire/string will still travel the same distance on both sides.

RE: Rudder pull-pull geometry question
Brian DeFelice has come up with a different approach to pull-pull. Check his website out http://members.cox.net/bdfelice/ with attention to pull-pull geometery as well as the controls.
A lot of guys have been using his ideas for several years now.

thanks for the info ,
Brian DeFelice has some complicated setups! it helps a lot to see what all that can be done with cables!

RE: Rudder pull-pull geometry question
The really amazing part is that Ackerman works. Sure makes set-up a lot easier. I have used it for the last several years with no problems.

RE: Rudder pull-pull geometry question
At the flying field I see guys with these very tight wires going to the control surfaces and all this BS they went through for their set up. The Ackerman RULES it is simple straight Forward and makes Pull pull a no brainer. I have almost loose cables and they work flawlessly.
