are you sure you want to turn this truck into a crawler?
Its a desirable truck so you could always sell it on ebay to fund a nice crawler project.

But if you do want to go ahead then the first thing to be done Would be a 4link setup and go from there.

my mounty was my first R/C and ill will never sell it.i treasure that thing.ill drive it till it quits then ill shine it up and put in on my shelf.ill dont pan on ever getting rid of it.

Like I said 4 link would b ethe first upgrade then a high tourq motor ang new shocks.

do you think savage shocks would work or should i get T-maxx shocks?if i used savage shocks i would have to make my own a-arms.

A arms? haven't seen them on a crawler

there was a guy who made a custom emaxx crawler it was awesome eh combined solid axle and independent suspension into one.

I have never seen a mountineer i person but I would say go with tmaxx shocks.

i plan to scale climb so i dont need an ass load of articulation.

I wanted to do that too I even started making a scale course but when my clod came it turned otu it wasnt that scale so I guess that is a good excuse to get a pajero or better yet another mroe scale clod

lol, ive already made a course and it might be a little to un-scaled considering my t-maxx cant make it over it and its alot bigger than my mountie.
