Hi guys!

I need your help.
I have a CAmodel Extra 300 24% almost ready and I need to know what is the best engine for 3D flying.
I think buy between the 3W 24i, MVVS 1.60 gas and MVVS 2.15 gas.
The 3W 24i without tuned pipe is good for 3D flying or not? The MVVS 2.15 is too heavy for this model?
What is the right weight for this model for 3D?
Somebody can help me?

This model loves to run out of wing if you slow it down too much. I personally think a gas engine of any kind would make it too heavy. I had an os 160 in mine and it would do anything 3d but it was very tail heavy even with about 5 oz of lead on the nose. If I were to do it again I think I would use a moki 180. A good comprimise between power and weight. If your sold on gas go for the lightest thing you can find like a zdz 40

I like to put a gas engine in this plane, glow fuel is too expensive here. I know that glow engine is the best option for this plane.
I understand that 3W 24i with tuned pipe get 4HP of power. That is right?
If that is correct, I think is the best option in gas engine.
The ZDZ engines here is hard to find.
What was the final weight of your plane?

I sold it some time ago but I think it was right about 11 pounds. There have been at least 2 very large threads on the ca 24% over the past year. you will find a wealth of info on this model with different motors if you do a search
