Rock Crawling "track"
Hey everybody. I am in the process of constructing an offroad track in VA and was wondering if there is much interest in rock crawling in the Central Va area. If there is, I will also put in a rock area for people to crawl....there is plenty of room and rocks!!
Also, the track will be in the festivities of Camp Jeep this year which is held about 30 mins away, so I am hoping to draw in some people to show the Jeepers what small scale vehicles can do!!
Let me know....thanks!!

COOL, count me in. I was begining to think I was the only RC crawling nut in VA. I`m in western VA but it realy isn`t that far of a drive. I went to Camp Jeep in 01, had a blast, are you doing some kind of demo during CJ or just advertiseing and hopeing to draw some people during the event ?

In case you didn't know, I work for the Amherst Rec Dept and this track is for the dept. It is not a private track. That is how we got linked in.

smokinjoe, will you post some pics of your track

The rock crawling area would be to the left in the picture. That straightaway in the pic is actually not part of the track. More dirt still has to be brought in and the jumps made. But you get thr jist of it....

Thats cool, give me a yell if you need any volunteer help. My Jeep is down for awhile so I might just have to come up with my tube crawler and Savage to check out the track.
