RE: J-TEC Radiowave
Hello,
I saw the after math of a rh wing failure on the big 40% last year and I have seen some posts over the months of cover blowing off wings. Cant say about long term quality. I know they fly nice like most of the others but Im a firm beliver of you get what you pay for and I have been down that road.
Thanks

A man that flies Imac in the Southeast, Jerry Candito owns Two and the are set up exactly alike He really make me want one every time I see him fly them. He flies at the top of unlimited. Nice planes. You can even walk beside them while landing. Never seen them stall on landing....Kent Porter

RE: J-TEC Radiowave
I have the 40% extra. Very good quality as far as I'm concerned.
First flight needed 2 beeps of down trim, incidences came set from the factory.
I fly mostly 3D and would say the only limiting factor for the plane would be the thumbs at the transmitter.
Probably have about 50 flights so far and it has been trouble free. [8D]
I did go over the whole plane with an iron to make sure the covering was nailed down really well
also made sure the glue joints looked good.
You should do this with all ARF's.

Obviously you are still mistaken on your "hear say".
We contacted all our customers when you first came out with this fairytail, none of which have every had a problem!!!!!! nor have we had any problems to date.
With our customers permission I will galdy provide you or anyone with there names and if you can find that so called customer Please let us know. I would be more than happy to take care of any problem that exsist with our products.

Mr. Young
I posted what I was told at the field and I indicated specfically that I drove up after it happened and the person indicated it was the 40% Jtec ARF. If you have contacted every customer who has bought the ARF's then you have you must also ask yourself maybe this is not the original owner or third or whatever the case may be. I can't tell you other than what I was told when I asked what happened and I never indicated anything else or spouted as you put it. Since your on a soap box I was at Joe nall and saw a few of your planes flying and even talked to a few folks and they were happy with some issues of glue joints and covering comming off.
So I think instead of alienating a potential customer and yes I was considering a 35% Panzl 330 plane since they are different and I normally don't buy anymore arfs. But you can forget any business from me. Maybe your time is better served listening instead or pounding your chest.

RE: J-TEC Radiowave
I had the pleasure of covering one of these aircraft (ARC is guess). The only woodworking I had to do was cut the firewall and support sides to fit the specific engine. All joints were completely tight and the wood was of excellent quality. I never touched it with sandpaper at all. The 3-view and pics I was given of a specific aircraft to copy showed that the rudder was a little offsized, but I cut the covering to match the pictures and it looked fine.
Just wish I could afford one!

RE: J-TEC Radiowave
If all a person has is second hand information then I think the best thing to do is not post at all about a product. I have seen many planes go in and the plane gets the blame when in reality it was something that the pilot did wrong. Let's leave hearsay evidence where it belongs, unsaid!

GrnBrt,
That is a good thought, but in forums you can never tell who is telling what and you have to judge what you read. The owner of the plane gave a clear answer when asked what happened, not another person. I can only tell you what was seen after it happened as I stated long ago. I have seen many other posts similar to that as well as second hand, third hand etc. So guys use your best judgement when reading in here ar any other site to made educated decisions based on what you believe is fact.
Regards
