Batteries V or mah??
I have a dragonfly micro and I have a few battery questions. It has an 8.4 700mah battery and I need to know.... Can I use a 9.6v Hummingbird "birdseed" battery without burning up the 3-in-1? or Should I just go with a higher mah 8.4v? And if higher mah, what is the most I should go? Would it be better to look into a li-poly, can it be do without uprgading the electrinics? THanks for your help.

RE: Batteries V or mah??
You should not go over the rated V of your stock battery unless you have very specific instructions from the manufacturer stating its safe to do so.
For mAh, you can go as high as you want. However increase in mAh = increase in size/weight so if you go too high, your bird won't be able to take off.

Lipo's are the way to go, they are about half the weight of Ni-MH packs of the same size. Only use 2 cell packs for stock set-up. You will need a lipo charger if you don't already have one.
