CA Models 31% Extra
Hi,
I am really thinking of getting this plane next. It will be my first gasser (Although I have experience with 2 Meter models) so i would need help with some things. Here is my basic set up.
Ca 31% extra.
5xJR 8611
R-148 DP receiver
Duralite batteries (4000mah on RX, and 2000mah on ignition)
3W 75 i QS
Duralite batteries
3W smoke system
Is there anything I should change? CA recommend two servos per aileron but I think 1 8611 on each would do? Also, what exhaust and prop setup should I go for? I wouldn't use it for serious competition and would rather stay quiet and lose a little power (not much though!), and keep the club happy. Thats also why I'm trying to stay light and use 5 servos and duralites. Also, I'm more used to MK hardware than the rocket city and the likes, so what hardware would you recomend?
Thanks for the help.

RE: CA Models 31% Extra
My setup is ZDZ80B2, 8611's on wings and rudder, 8411's on elevators, lithium Ions on Ignition and main system, carbon main and tail gear, very light fiberglass spinner, and carbon 24x10 prop. Weight is just under 20 pounds on my digtal fish scale. It has outstanding performance with the 80 twin and floats around compared to everything smaller I have flown. Balance right on the money with no weight anywhere. Flight pack is on the wing tube for balance. Will hang on the prop at 1/3 and wants to only very slightly go to the wheels on knife edge which I think is just a CG issue. It only took 3% to mix it out all together. All in all I am very happy with it.
