Default savage springs

has anybody out there cut there springs.i`ve got the blk firm springs and i was thinking of cutting all 4 springs so my savage sits lower.the only problem is weather i could still use my savage on the motorbike track.i`m frightened that it will keep hitting the floor after a jump.i`ve put in 25 weight silicone oil.should i cut all 4 or should i cut all 8.any suggestions?

i dont think ur suppose to do that but wat u can do is put fuel tubing on the INSIDE of the shock body so it limits the length of the shaft to creat a lower truck

I did a lot of custom & design work on coil suspension...
To cut a long one short... by cutting the springs i.e reducing the number of coils... you'll make it softer (weight carrying capacity) besides lowering the ride.
