Default Acting up

I have the Real Flight simulator for the Hobbico Nextar. During the "flight" the screen image stops as in a still picture. Then it "leaps" forward to another still image. Then another. Then another. And then it resumes the usual video motion. For the longest time (since July) there had been no such problem. It just started doing this intermittantly. Any ideas? thanx. Jim

Is the plane continuing in the same flight path when your display jumps from one frame to another ? Or does it reset when the frame jumps ?

Rajul: Thanx for responding. Generally the plane continues on the same path. But because for the moment I can no longer control the plane while the video is sticking and skipping, the plane often crashes. Jim

I suspect it can be either you have some spyware running in the background, or a bad cable connection. Do you have spybot or adaware ?

I sure do. I have AOL's spyware protection, Adaware, and Spybot. Jim

Run them, and then try G2 again. Also, "jiggle" the interface cable to see if there is any glitching. Are you using your own Tx or the controller ?

I'm using the Tx that came with the Nextar. I will run the spyware detection programs. Thanx. Jim

Mike Marks: I used the spyware software. I used additional software. Nothing changed. Here is a clue: Before I went to DSL, it worked fine. I have a ghosted hard drive on which it works fine. I'm going back to that hard drive and load forward the software that I had loaded previously. I'll see what happens. Thanx. Jim
