Default Moki 210 in a H9 edge

I just bought moki 210 for my H9 edge and i was wondering what was the best way to mount it.Sideways or inverted.

although I have limited experience with my Moki 2.1 I'd have to agree that sideways would make it much easier on you especially while starting. Mine is in a TF p-51 inverted and what a job it is to get started.

Two guys at out club have that combo, both have it mounted sideways.

If you;re going w/ the 2.1 mount the rudder/elevators servos in the tail or it'll end up hopelessly nose heavy. Just finished one for a customer and it balanced on the money with a Saito 180 which is a good pound lighter than the Moki 2.1 plus muffler.

I'd also pin the firewall with some 1/8" dowels to keep everything together. Man, the vertical performance will be terrific w/ that combo, but I advise carefull throttle management on the down lines!

My nephew has that combo, and it can take off at a high idle. With the tail up, he only gets about 1/2" prop clearance, so be careful taxiing around. It can sure do all the moves with that engine.

I was thinking about using a 3bladed prop as soon as i can find out what size to use.
