Default Wicked Rc Guy Gecko 2 (jugg body on a maxx)

Well I had this up in the monster truck forum but thought I would bring it down here.

Now before anyone goes off telling me what I should do I just want to say that this is by no means built to be a serious crawler. More of a fun truck that I can take climbing and do a little crawling.

its nice and all...and surely expensive but I don't like the look of it. the way the body is suspended way up there with nothing around it mainly. I hope it performs better than it looks.

Why would I want to lower the body when it almost rubs at that height?

ugh take those bumbers off!!! way to much bling, looks likea show truck not a crawler or basher and lower the body then dove tail the back of it and narrow the front, then you wont get rubbing and it will look sweet

To the rest of you thankyou. I have wanted one of these trucks for a long time but never got around to having one. Now that I do I can say that this truck is a blast.

AddictedtoRC, right on. I am actually at Canadore right now taking machining.

no its a NICE truck...I'm just not too fond of the body mounting method...does it not wiggle side to side with the posts in the doors?

Well WickedTxT, for being more of a basher that still looks like a serious crawler. And Kingcobra, the body may wiggle side to side but i don't think it will matter too much when your just crawling over rocks, it may even be better if you flip the truck and the sides of the body just bend instead of putting stress on the areas around vertical bodyposts which may lead to cracks in the body. And Atvrider4, the bumpers are probably there for a reason, like to protect the steering links and gearboxes, and not just "bling". BTW, where did you get those blue Deans connectors?

were not bashing it is a nice truck but to post it in crawler section you will get crawlers opinion just like if you put it in the nitro touring car section they would tell you what to do to make it that

no one is bashing and it is also a bit blinged out weather yall want to admit it or not

Alrighty!!!!!! [>:] who are you to tell me what is blinged out? and how to set up my truck????????????????????

First off the chassis is a Gecko 2 which is the #1 manufactored crawling chassis you can buy. So even with the blinged out bumpers it still performs better then 80% of the trucks I have seen used for crawling.

2nd I assume you can't read

shortbusjeep, I realize that your probably a kid but you have to realize when people want your input. If I was building a hardcore crawler then yes there would be a few things I would do different, but since I even stated in my original post that this truck wasn't going to be a massive crawler you should have realized that trying to tell someone what they should do was going to make a post ugly.

To rest of you guys, thanks!! I have a great little snow course made on my front lawn that I have been driving around on. Not hardcore but allot of fun.

well im guessing your a kid to cause any saine adult would be able to brush off a few comments aqbout som bling or a body mount and get on with there life.

and why did you post it if you didnt want any ones opinion? you want every one to tell you how great your truck and you are the best, you bought a bunch of parts and now you are my hero, sorry that whole truck is just abunch of aftermarket parts you screwed together nothing to bragabout in my book

i never said you should change any thing i just gave an point of view.

politely

OK - I went through and read the replies - There is no reason to get upset. No one has bashed the truck at all. A lot of cimpliments and questions. A couple of suggestions. If you post something, especially with really nice pics. People will post replies letting you know what they think of it.

If you do not like the replies, do not flaim or bash the people who posted them. There was nothing posted worth getting upset over.

You have done a great job - love the paint job.

The only person I have a problem with is shortbusjeep. This guy has no clue of what is going on and also can't read. People can comment all the want, thats why I post, but when a person tells you how you should do something when you have already wrote what the truck was for it just gets anoying. Then telling me my truck is blinged up because its has a few pieces of polished aluminum???? this is blinged up!!!

and even this

those are my blinged out trucks, not this one by anymeans.

shortbusjeep, again I will say this. You need to grow up and realize that not everybody builds a truck the way you think is "the right way" I think you should stick to your own crawler. btw can you post a link so I can check it out?? I would like to see if you have done everything you have told me to do.
