Default Not impressed with OMP

Not very impressed with OMP. Ordered an Ikarus PPS motor back in early May. I knew they hadn't gotten stock yet. They charged my PayPal account but never even send a confirmation email about my order. Saw a post on May 22nd that the PPS stuff was on the way to them, still no confirmation, no motor and obviously no way to get in touch with them as everytime I try their phone number, all I get is a recording despite the fact that I'm calling during their posted "business hours". No very good customer service as far as I'm concerned.

Right now the main shipping office is closed for the week. My phone number is available, but I don't have direct access to the shipping info. Confirmation numbers are sent out when the orders process automatically. You get confirmation from Paypal, our merchant that says you sent Payment to Ohio Model Planes.

We state on our website that this forum is the #1 way of getting in touch with us and it's been 5 minutes since you've posted, so it worked, you've got our attention!

I know that some of the PPS' shipped I'm not sure how many. Mike is over the other office tonite shipping out some stuff but I'm not sure if he knows about the PPS counts. But I'm sure he'll chime in and get answers.

If you have any more questions for us in the future, please don't hesitate to post here first.

I'm also alittle confused why I can never get through to anyone on the phone when I am calling during their regular business hours. Maybe my question can be answered here. I just ordered AFPD upgrade, and I wanted to make sure OMP had these in stock before I ordered, but could get no response by phone. STLPILOT, do you know if there are any AFPD upgrades in stock, and if not, how do I cancel my order. I used the paypal method. I need to know before I send in my AFP interface cable and disc. I would hate to send in my interface cable and find out the upgrade is not going to be in stock for another month or so. I want to make sure when I send in my interface cable, the upgrade will be on its way. I have given up on expecting a response by phone, lets see if this forum can produce a faster response. Thanks. Yes we have AFPD upgrades in stock, plenty of them.

I'm really confused on why you can't get in touch with anyone as there are 2 phone numbers on the website. My phone number on the website (Dion Cini) is my cell phone number and is with me at all times. We also have someone that takes sales phone calls from 9-4.

But I will find out why these numbers are not working.

Either way ... the website says if you need support question answered, ask here. Peronally I am on these forums at least 20-30 times a day and now have them integrated into our new website.

The website has also had a banner running stating the dayton office is closed this past week due to John having to go out of town with his family. So if you call that number, you will only leave a message. He should be back over the weekend and back to business on Monday.

We are at the mercy of Ikarus on the motors and still do not have them in stock. That status was advertised as well and I'm sorry they keep getting delayed but we have no control. they come from overseas and like everything else from overseas, no schedule is guaranteed. I may have some good news though either today or tomorrow and we'll post here if they come in. Again, sorry for any inconveniences and we'll get all backorders out within a day of their arrival.
