fun picollo advice
i am an intermediate e-flite pilot (sub- 40' span) and am looking to buy a micro helicoptor and use it during the winter when flying is more cumbersome. i have found that the "fun" picollo from ikarus is the cheapest e-heli i could find. would this be a good strter heli to learn indoor heli flight on?, or would i crash it immediately?

fun picollo advice
The micro helicopters are MUCH harder to fly than the larger ones. Some people like them and will tell you the Piccolo is great to learn on. You crash. You glue it back together.
I'll tell ya, get yourself a BIG bottle of glue.
My advice is to get an LMH Corona to learn on. It's tough as nails, bigger and more stable. You can't fly it inside, but you should be able to in a backyard. Your chances of success are much higher than with the Piccolo.
Oh, another thing, the $ on a Piccolo may look pretty low, but chances are you'll end up spending additional on parts and upgrades and before you know it you'll realize you could have bought a great, top of the line, larger heli. I once spent like $20 on a "crash kit" for a Hornet and it was pretty much nothing but a bunch of Carbon Fiber twigs. What a friggen waste....
