I would use a 27x10, but I see you are probably at high altitude, and it seems in that situation guy are running a little smaller size and going for higher rpm.
Funny though, when the engine breaks in, you'll be able to spin a 26x10 3 blade!!!

flyinrazrback --> Do you have the painted heads? Also, what were your inflight temps?
As far as props go, remember that most, if not all european props are shorter in inches than stated on the prop.
Some as much as .250" to .500" shorter.

3d, the mejzlik is loud due to the rpms, but not like a P tip, if you think the p tip on my 157 was loud, you should hear the 28x10 p tip on this 106, I bet it is 5x as loud as what you heard, and would honestly make you hold your ears, numerous people at the field complain.
