Revo with TM323 Gearing
I am running the TM323 (awesome) in the Revo and I race on a fairly small track. I need to know what the optimum gearing would be in this situation. Right now I am at stock settings. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Revo with TM323 Gearing
in my opinion you wouldnt want to lower the gear ratio at all. that motor has a lot of torque and it would probably be a hand on a small track........if its not already.
i would leave it the way it is now.

RE: Revo with TM323 Gearing
Well, I stripped a few gears tonight at the races, so now I am running a 15/40 and standard ratio in the tranny. Pretty much was tearing the track up until a tie rod snapped on me. I will definitely have to gear down some. Thanks for the help.

Personally, on a tight track... with a TM323.. I'd run a 16/36... w/ close ratio gearing... with the 16/36... you'll still need some throttle control... but not NEAR as much.

RE: Revo with TM323 Gearing
Totally agree with RevoFamily.. I run 16/36 - close ratio, on a fairly technical track and find it has enough low end as well as top. Gearing down any just means I'm losing traction from wheel lift.
