Default ZDZ Thottle hook-Up

Could anyone with this engine tell me the best way that they used to hook-up to the thottle arm that is on the Bing#48 carb.On mine the stop screw is in the way on one side and the adjustment screws are in the the way on the other side.It will not let me get a straight shot to the hole that is in the thottle arm. Thanks in advance MJ

Many owners of the ZDZ just use a cut off wheel to remove the throttle stop screw/mounting bracket. That gives you a straight shot, and you don't use the stop screw in airplane applications anyway.

You don't even have to grind the bracket off. For me it was enough to just remove the stop screw. I enlarged existing hole (for 3mm screw) in the throttle arm and used a ball link and sullivan goldn rod to connect it to the servo.
