Mix Fuel?

Default Mix Fuel?

I got Traxxas top fuel 20% in my car right now. Ordered Odonnell 20% and should i drain the tank or let it run out or can i just mix them?

Personally, I would not mix them. I would also let a full tank with the new fuel and then retune your carb.

I agree with dg2b. The word to the wise is "NOT" to mix fuels.

ok ty guys what do i do just open the gas tank door and turn upside down?? or will it run out the fuel line if i dissconted it

Yes...that is one way....or just use your fuel bottle with the spout on it to suck it out. I think the key point here is not to make a habit of mixing fuels...if you do have a little bit left in the fuel line...it won't do any harm.

Default Mix Fuel?

A good trick is to pull the carb line from the carb and the pressure line from the pipe. Then blow through the pressure and all your fuel will come out. Just make sure you have something to catch the fuel with.
