Default newbie wants to make an awesome car

ok im fairly new to rc i have only owned a mini t and traxxas nitro rustler (which i only got to drive once and my father did most of the driving, unfortunatly i cant drive it anymore because when we moved i lost the radio, and dont know how install a new one)

i want to get into some high speed car racing, preferably electric( mostly just driving around at my park though)

im wondering wat the best car for me would be, i would like:

-high speed
-lots of different upgrade options
-durabilty, im fairly new so i might do some crashing
-electric, if i really get into this hobby i might upgrade to a nitro
-and i kind of want something that will drive at my local parks baseball field(no rocks, very compact dirt, and flat)

can someone plz help a newbie find his dream car or the closest thing to it

as for the baseball field driving thing, this isnt necasary i would just like it, if not i will always use a flawless inline hocket rink that no one ever uses

You should take that one to your LHS (local hobby shop) and let them install a radio for you if you can't do it. Probably be cheaper then buying an entirely new rig.

yes you could do that. also if you know your frequency of your rustler then you could hop on ebay or something and look for a TQ3 for it in that same frequency

your local hobby shop would be best because they will always be there and if you cant get one there then go to www.towerhobbies.com and look there

Sorry, I totally missed the fact that you were wanting to do on road stuff. Can't really help you as far advising goes there though as I don't know that much about it.

A good car that I just recently read about is the HPI sprint 2 RTR. HPI alredy has a ton of aftermarket parts for it and it looks halph way decent. The only downfall is that it's belt driven and that wouldn't work all that great on dirt. If you realy wnat to go on the dirt your best bet would probably be the TC4 as it's shaft driven and all you would have to do is throw some rally tires on it and hire the ride hight. The sprint being the cheaper of the two as the TC4 is more guided towards racing.
