RE: amd hawk help
The instruction booklet is actually very clear, are you sure you are looking at the manual?

Open the manual, and look at page 7.

RE: amd hawk help
we are the U.K. importers of this model and if you buy the latest edition of Radio control Jet Magazine aug / sept which is just out now there is a full review of this model and the latest mods that my kits include. We have modified the area you are having difficulties with by putting the rudder servo up in the fin and the elevator servo on its side in the rearest part of the model which enables easy connection then to the elevator horn .This works well as the linkage is then in the bottom of the rudder channel and you do not need to worry about the rudder linkage getting in the way.We use a ball link on the elevator linkage something like the dubro adjustable ball link works well .COLCHESTER A1 MODELS

RE: amd hawk help
Calling all AMD red ARROW HAWK pilots in the u.k. I am trying to get 9 of you guys out there .to do photo shoot we managed 5 at the last JMA event at RAF cottesmore last weekend.Next Jma event is Raf Conningsby in oct maybe we might get 9 then i hope.We had 3 flying together and we were quickly nicknamed THE RED SPARROWS which i thought was quite apt for this fun little model which flies exceptional well on the MW 44 and we still have not put there latest engine in yet that is now producing well over 10 lbs of thrust.Dave Gladwin was over from Australia so we let him have a fly with it and he was amazed how well this little plane flies and said it flies as if it is on rails.

Funny...this is an ancient thread but I just acquired one of these LOL
Well, even though it came with photocopied AMD/JHH instructions.....it's obviously a clone of some sort. Missing all kinds of parts, instructions are VERY vague compared to the engineering that has to be done, but it is a cool model and I am getting through it. Was looking for old info on this plane and came across this thread. Cool lol
Cheers
