Default Wooden Blades for 36

I have just purchased some wooden blades for my 36. I got them from HeliDirect, you can see the blades [link=http://www.helidirect.com/product_info.php?products_id=578]here[/link] . I have just recieved them and they have got a white plastic covering on them. Does the whole white film need to be peeled off or do you just need to make a whole for the bolt to go through?

Thanks,

James

The whole film needs to be removed.

Don't rip it off, they used to use clear covering and I have couple set from them. Now they use the white covering, I would check the balance first, and check the tracking afterward.

ummmm, little bit late. I took the covering off one set. Does anyone else have experience with these blades?

Leave the plastic on - the blades are supposed to be covered. These blades work very nicely. However, they were a little too long inside the blade holder, so I had to remove some off the end with a Dremel. You should be able to cover them back up with the correct size shrink tubing.

I was thinking about just giving the blades with the stripped off covering a coat of clear lacquer.

So the blades have no covering, they are just the bare wood?
