Sanwa Gemini II FM
40mHz FM Transmitter with nicad pack
Dual nicad charger
RX-311 Micro receiver
'Y' Type switch harness
Transmitter flag.
this is the spec for it, however, i'm getting another RC car, so i need another RX, can i only use Gemini ones? i ask because they are double the price of a Hitec (FM) RX.

40MHz? r they for ground use?
different country has different regulation..
But in general, as long as the frequency is the same, you can use any brand of receiver you want...

Not necessarily. Sanwa (or Airtronics in USA) are positive shift, similar brands with positive shift are JR racing, and Ko propo. Hitec's are negative shift as well as futaba's, so the hitec rx will not work with your Gemini tx even with the same frequency and band. Unless you use a Hitec HFS-03MM rx which will work with all radios, or a Hitec DCX positive shift for Airtronics, JR & Ko.
