Default RE: SPE and BCMA same engines?

The BCMA starts out as an SPE, but does not end up the same. The BCMA ignition module is different, and allows Adam(BCMA Owner) to adjust the timing to the power curve of the engine. Adam also uses a Zama large bore carb to help the engine breath better. The SPE, Walbro carb is slightly undersized for the 40CC version. The biggest thing you get with the BCMA is great customer service. Adam exceeds expectations when dealing with customers. This is really important, when gasser newbies decide to try gas. There is a learning curve. The BCMA is an inexpensive engine, but not cheap! There is a great thread on this, entitled BCMA Engines. Everything you want to know is there.

You've probably already been to the BCMA website, but just in case, the link below will take you to the gallery of planes using these engines, including mine.
