Windshield pattern
I have a Sig 1/4 scale clip wing cub that needs a new windshield. I bought the plane in about 1994 or so from a fellow at the Ankeny, IA EXPO. I do not have the plans. I think the windshield pattern is on the plans but am not sure. I don't know if I can get the old windshield off in one or more pieces to get a good enough pattern to make the new one. Any ideas?

RE: Windshield pattern
Hey Cub Man. No matter how I try to print the pattern I cannot get one to scale. Maybe I don't know how to work it but I cannot get the whole thing on one page or even get it to spread to 2 pages.

RE: Windshield pattern
Hi,
I have a windshield template somewhere in file. Give me a day or so and I'll dig it out. Can you use either Corel or DXF formats? That would solve the scaling problem.
I also drew up the forward portion of the left and right lightening bolt as well as the NC numbers for the wing if anyone needs them. They are in vector format.
Regards,

RE: Windshield pattern
Hey guys,
Thanks for all the responses. I e mailed Steve my address in hopes he would send me one by mail. My PC is way outdated and I can barely surf the net, let alone use any of the fancy graphics programs. Guess I'll have to spend some money to get upgraded instead of buying that new airplane or engine or radio or......... maybe the PC can wait a year or two.
Again, thanks to everyone for all their help.

When you print it make shore you do not have fit to page checked. It’s best to open it in paint or a graphics program. If you do it through the photo option in Windows that can make it difficult to print the correct size. But when you print it print it at 100% scale

Cubman,
Got it. I opened it up in Paint and had to resize it a touch to get the ruler to match true inches. Thanks a lot. Guess I'm not up on handling graphics and such.
