Ditto

I like the idea too. The clutchbell is too expensive to be destroying it every time the gears wear out.

Hey The Real Dogman,
I would love to say yes.
But, when the idea was first posted, I was that impressed I used the same method, to get a mate to make me one up on a milling machine at work.
It is brilliant, thanks anyway!!

OK Guys, Drum Roll Please, Here are the first prototype tools!!!!! I am going to have the machinist bore out a center hole to take some material out to lighten them up for shipping..
The first run will be limited to 8(2 are for me :-P) But will run off more if there are more people who want them!! So everyone that has asked up this point & date will recieve from the first run(I will PM You When Ready For Shipment)
Any Thoughts, Questions or Suggestions about Usage, Color(more cost involved) or Prices(PM me with YOUR suggested retail price)
I could have them in my hands by friday at the earliest, with no changes...
Feast your eyes on these

Wow. Talk about fast action!
What's on the bottom? Can't tell from the pics.
Looks good though, and color makes no difference to me.
6061 aluminum or what? Just out of curiosity.

Dustin, He is great!! It is 6061-T6
Besides simple stuff is quick and easy!!
I'm glad you asked what was on the bottom, it is two flats to clamp in a vice. That just happens to be 15/16" For A wrench or an adjustable(cresent) wrench , As well as there will be a 1/4" cross hole to insert a phillips head screw driver or 1/4" Rod as T-handle. The latter two methods are intended for Changing at the track or in the field.
Simple yet effective
Hope that helps!!

Sounds perfect.
It will be soo much easier with this tool.
Now I just hope you don't charge us an arm and a leg.... maybe just a kidney?

They are on the way to me. He put them in the mail today. I should have them by Friday!!! Still no news on cost yet.. I will have the cost this weekend for sure and possibly ship them out as early as monday!!
By the way, we decided not to bore the center out, to keep the cost down. If you guys feel it is needed then maybe we will do it, but not on this run.
