This is my new Super Bandit!!!
After countless hours of tears and sweat, its finally done. I worked my fingers to the bone on this one. I just can't seem to get it shiney? LOL. No, I can't take credit. This is Joey Tamez's work. After begging and bribeing, he built this beauty for me and just finished painting it so we can take it to Florida Jets. Now if I can get this P200 to fit in this baby, we can get going.
Hope you like it.

Thanks for the ups!!!
We will be at Florida Jets on Wednesday to fly her. We can fly Wednesday right?
John,
We will have to fly the 86's around together.

Laura,
Sorry you cant make the trip. Sounds like its going to be huge this year.

Ben,
I wish it was a 200. Only a 120. I need the 200 for my F100 when they are released.

A few others and i are trying to talk my dad into coming out to Lake Wales at the end of the year......
Bit dodgy the airports here at the moment.....So there may be a few delays for the Brits who will be at FJ.

Matt,
Cool, can you lay me up one of those 200's up also?
You have a Super Bandit right? What are you going to put in it? Im sure you didnt built those aluminum spars for a 120.

Pat,
I think Joe put that pearl in every plane he painted in the last five years but this one.

Scott,

Make sure you have room in the trailer for Kevin's MB 339. We want to see his rivet work that he has been *****ing about for four weeks now

You should be able to test fly wednesday without a problem. Frequency board will be there, but transmitter impound will not be open until Thursday morning. I will be test flying the BVM F-86 on Wednesday also.

Default tailcone

Tam,
I gotta have one of those!!!
Any more info?

Blueskies,
Your right, red does look faster. I love red jets. They are my favorite. I often get comments about how fast my BC is, and guess what, its red!
Markings are from Promark. Mostly all paint mask and its painted with ppg paint.

Default Holy Cow!

No wonder I avoid the Jets forums!

I have nor the cash nor the skill and intelligence to complete something like that...

You guys kill me- I will be happy just to get my TGA F-15 (DF> ) In the air... For me that is hi-tech!

Good luck on the maiden and again- NICE JOB

Scott:

You and Joey beat me to it. I had Barry West do the indentical scheme on mine (the reverse BV scheme--black is red and red is black with Pro-Mark graphics).

Wonder if your underside is similar to BV's. I was planning to copy his design for the bottom.

And those Tam tailcones look like a kick butt upgrade. I saw a pair of tailcones on a Eurofighter out in Scottsdale a couple of weeks ago, and they are gorgeous. I think those were Tams as well.

Jonathan Smith has a AMT Nl Peggy HP stuffed into the Super Bandit that Steve Jaworski built for him. I think he will have it at FJ, so you can see how tight it is. Since the 200 is a little bigger, I think that it is going to be a very tight fit, but I am not sure of the final dimensions of the 200.

Unfortunately I cannot make FJ, and really am going to miss some cool stuff.

Tom
