trouble starting 4-tec
I haven't started this thing in awhile and I'm having problems. I thought maybe it was the motor but it's working, I checked it with my battery charger and it runs great. Now I think something might be wrong with the fuel line because no suction is happening and no fuel is moving. I have the EZ starter so when I hold the button down the motor spins and nothing else happens. Maybe the Glow plug?
I can't seem to get this thing to turn over. I haven't started it in awhile but when I did back in the past I only used it 2-3 times.
I'm not to experienced in R/C gas cars so any help or advice would be appreciated. Like with things for me to identify my problem would be great.

try plugging up the exhaust with your finger untill you see fuel going into the carb then let your finger off and see if it starts.
IF NOT:
-check your glow plug
-spray some wd-40 inside the engine where the glow plug goes
-the fuel might be bad
-or it could be that you need to take apart the engine and carb and clean out the old nitro that might be gummed up inside

if the only motor you hear spinning is the easy start then your one way bearing is slipping and you need to take off the easy starter and there is a hex looking nut inside that goes around the shaft comming out of the backplate of the engine...get some denatured alcohol or any kind of degreaser i would think would work and clean out that bearing and the shaft area comming out of the back of the engine.
