spur gear?

Default spur gear?

i broke some teeth on my spur gear so i bought a steel spur gear and took off my gas tank. now heres my problem i cant pull the spur gear off b/c of the motor is in the way. what would be the easiest way to take it off?

Remove the transmission and Simply take the bolt off the spur gear, and replace the pads if needed. take caution to not loose the 2 small washers between the nut and the Spur gear.

Personally, I think pulling the motor is easier than pulling the tranny.

I pull the motor too, but could be just personal preference

so if i wanted to pull the motor what all would need to be removed? just the bottom screws? does it come out as a whole or do i have to take one part off to get another off to get another off?

Just the four bottom screws, and the ground wire for your starter. I also losen the gas tank so I can swing it out of the way.

ok thanks the gas tank is already off so now i just need to move the motor. thanks for the help
