Default T-MAXX CRASH!!!!!!!!

Just had 1st major crash with 3.3 Maxx........FULL SPEED into concrete parking block. Damage=Broke L/H upper and lower A-arms, Fwd Bulkhead, Bent both A-Arm hinge pins, Broke 6 teeth on spur gear and I PRAY did not shack up the diff. What is a good way to check the differential without pulling it apart? Also what is a good fwd bulkhead to buy and are titanium a-arm hinge pins worth the extra cash.

OK I know your thinking the best investment is more practice and DON'T HIT CRAP AT FULL SPEED..............STILL WORKING ON THAT!

Huh, bent hinge pins on 3.3? When my 3.3 Tumbles form sliding due to high center of gravity my hinge pins have shattered in 3 peices. Not a good thing because its so hard to remove the smaller peices.

I learned that if I run my 'off-road' nitros 'off-road' that they live a lot longer with fewer broken parts. My highest repair costs were always on the street or in a parking lot. Not to mention the liability of running a car where people and cars are.

I really don't even run mine on the street anymore except for a quick check or tuning.

Mine bent...and that's when you realize another fine reason why aluminium is bad. I'd stick with "plastic" parts, unless you plan on bullet proofing because metal just leads to more problems.

Off road is better cause grass and trees are more forgiving than curbs and posts[]

Welcome to the club, I smashed my Tmaxx the same exact way. I destroyed the front bulkhead, both upper and lower a-arms, hinge pins, skidplate, and bent two shock shafts. Since then I upgraded to the Traxxas aluminum front bulkheads, titamium hinge pins, aluminum bumper, and new stock a-arms. Now here's my opinion of my upgrades, the aluminum bulkheads have stood up great, but I've still managed to break a set of a-arms and bend a titanium hinge pin. Let me tell you, what a PITA it was to get that hinge pin out! That would be the only downside IMO. Also I don't care for my aluminum skidplates cause they bend too easy, I would go with either titanium or stock.

When I say bumper, I'm referring to the one that mounts under the bulkhead.

you mean skid plate

THANKS for all the input guys. But does anyone have any input on a good way to check the differential without pulling it apart?
