Default PLEASE HELP WITH BUSHLESS ESC CAN GET IT TO WORK

Hi everyone, I have just installed a brushless motor and speed controller. EK1-0350 Esky ESC. and the EK5-0006 Brushless motor. I cant for the love of God get any respsonse from the throttle at all. Has any one had experience of these ???. The rest of my set up is stock apart from the motor and speed controller.

I found some infomation on the net about the setup of the speed controller. I just cant get it to do anything but Beepbeep beepbeep beepbeep

Make sure that the throttle trim is all the way down to "zero". Also make sure that you return the throttle stick to "zero" before the beep-beep-beep ends so as to "set" the programing to that (no brake) mode. Next disconnect and then reconnect the battery and try it out.

P.S. Also make sure that the "Hov Pit" knob is set to "0" or less.

ok i have tried it many many times i am either doing somthing really wrong or somthing is wrong. I have noticed its beeps 4 times not 3. beepbeep beepbeep beepbeep beepbeep

Can anyone just tell me this is right.

1. turn on transmitter with full throttle

2. plug in heli to battery and when the beeps start move the throttle down until at the bottom before the beeps stop

3.disconnect battery

4 re connect battery and ..... same thing happens

Make sure that you do not have the Tx switched to "idle up" mode.

lol, I had that same problem last week with my heli. (imma heli noob) I felt kinda stupid that it was something that simple. But I was glad it was something simple rather than something burned up.

After my 25 years of flying I figured out if you start with the simple stuff first you most likely will find your problem. And it always seems that it is the simplest thing that eat you up the most. I had a Castle Creations Thunderbird 9, a 4 channel reciever and small brushless motor eat my lunch for about 2 hours one night. Could not get it to arm. Come to find out it was the sub trim in my radio. I know I repeated the steps 15 times just to make sure I did it right. [sm=angry_smile.gif] Finally it hit me and walleye. 2 clicks on the sub trim and I was in buisness. Something I should have checked first. All I could think of was how simple this is and I can't figure it out. Just some FYI for you guys. Gittle
